CC3235MODASF: How to Downlaod a program to CC3235MODASF through XDS

I'm testing CC3235MODASF and want to download a bin file through XDS which is on a LaunchPad, But XDS cann't connect to the target as shown in the pics below.

I connected the JTAG(4w), nRESET and UART0 to MSP432 or CC3235SF LaunchPad so as to VBAT1, VBAT2 and GND. As I know the SOP(2:0) had been pulled down with about 90kΩ resistances to configure 3235 in Functional development mode. In this mode, 4-pin JTAG is available to the developer.

I also tried to do this through UniFlash, unfortunately, it still doesn't work and came up with the same result.

Can you tell me how to flash the bin file to CC3235MODASF?

Hi Siemin,

Hard to say what may to be wrong wiring. I don't have much confidence to your connection. Please provide schematic how you have connected module exactly.

At first step you need to use Uniflash and switch module into development. Without development mode is JTAG locked. Uniflash software uses UART (RX, TX), nRESET and recommanded SOP mode 1-0-0 (2-1-0).

I connected the wires and set the SOP mode to UARTLoad as you suggested and followed UniFlash CC3x20, CC3x3x SimpleLink Wi-Fi® and Internet-on-a chip Solution ImageCreator and Programming Tool User's Guide, I have downloaded the file to CC3235MODASF successfully.

One thing to note is that we should choose CC31xx / CC32xx from the device list instead of LAUNCHXL or BOOTLOADER.
