CC3235SF: MQTTClient_connect FAILED error

Part Number: CC3235SF

Hi,

I got the "MQTTClient_connect FAILED: -450" while connecting to the MQTT.

Here I do not find the reason for this error -450 can anyone help me here to understand the error code and where to find this type of the error code meaning.

  • Hi Rahul,

I responded to your thread here with some info:

    https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-group/wifi/f/wi-fi-forum/1036333/launchxl-cc3235sf-error-mqtt_connect-failed/3832298#3832298

By the way, it is more efficient for TI support to help if you keep your issue to one thread. I no longer work for TI but if things still operate like they did back when I worked there you can simply post a reply to your original thread - when you post to a thread the TI applications engineering team for Wi-Fi will get notified, so creating an entirely new thread is not necessary and clutters up the forum. Of course, for TI new threads doesn't really hinder them from tracking forum activity thanks to the robust forum tools they have, but for non-TI users like us who don't have access to those internal tools duplicate threads really make it harder to go through the forum and collaborate. So I suggest we keep the discussion to that other thread I linked above.

    Thanks!

    Michael
