LAUNCHCC3235MOD: How to configure SOP pin

Part Number: LAUNCHCC3235MOD

According to the technical manual, P35 is SOP0, P34 is SOP1 and P21 is SOP2. However, syscfg in CCS does not show that P34,P35 has an external connection.

The customer would like to debug using the SWD2 line, how to deal with jumper to debug with SWD?

Could you please help check this? Thanks!

Hi,

You can look at the schematic of the reference LaunchPad.

To set 2W SWD, you need to set the SOP lines to SOP[2:0] -> [001].

And customer would like to confirm the way to set SOP:

Option 1: The SOP0 is connected to the jumper, and SOP1 and SOP2 are not connected to the jumper.

Option 2: SOP[2:0] Voltage Value -> [0V,0V,3.3V].

And about the connection of J16, what's the relationship between these 2?

Hi,

You can use either way as long as you keep the input levels in SOP lines as expected.

On schematics it is connected to VCC_BRD which should be 3.3V.

J16 is simply for SOP1. I don't understand the question here.
