CC3235MODSF: Is it possible not to check the certificate expiration date?

Part Number: CC3235MODSF

Hello,

Regarding server authentication with a radius server on the enterprise network,

1. NWP checks expiration date of the embedded root CA file(/sys/cert/ca.der)?

2. NWP checks expiration date of the server's certificate?

We have no plan to update cc3235modsf module firmware after market.

So I guess If we use public certificate for the server authentication, the expiration date seems to be an issue.

3. Is there any way to not check expiration date of the certificate?

4. Or would it be better to use a self-signed certificate?

Thanks,

Calvin
