Hi,

I am getting below error when trying to do service pack programming CC3120 through UART interface using CCS uniflash tool.

FATAL: Error loading the bootloader. Error code: -3

Please let me know what causes this failures?. and let mw know if there any other tool which supports firmware update.

Hi Navaneeth,

Which version of Uniflash are you using? Does this problem still happen when you use the standalone version of Uniflash?

Hi Jacob,

I am using uniflash v3.4.1.00012, with this version it was able to connect with the hardware but getting above error.

I had also tried with uniflash v6.4.0 and v7.0.0 also, but for these versions connection to the target board also not established.

Hi Navaneeth,

You cannot use Uniflash v3.1 for CC3120 device, you need to use 6.x or 7.x

Please provide details (block schematic) how you have connected your CC3120 to computer. For connection is recommanded to use CC31XXEMUBOOST. Detail information you find here.
Do you use own hardware? Do you use CC3120 QFN or CC3120MOD? Are you able communicate with CC31200 by your host MCU?
