CC3135: Country code setting

Hello expert,

I would like to double check some items for my customer.

1. To change the shipment country , is just changing the "country code" enough?
2. What is affected by chainging the "Country Code" , is it just only the channnels selection?
3. If we set the TX power as the lowest one from FCC/ETSI/JP by Uniflash , then change the country code repectively, will the TX power will change?
4. I recognized there are 2 way to change the "Country code" , by imaging by Uniflash or run time API (sl_elanSet()) , are there any other way to chage ?

    Hi Akihiko,

    1. Yes

    2. See Table 4-3 or Appendix C in the Network Processor appnote. Setting the country code will accordingly limit the channels that can be used and the output power as well to assist with regulatory certification requirements (see the BOOSTXL-CC3135 test reports here).

    3. Yes. See this related post.

    4. No. You can only change the country code using Uniflash or in the application code.
