Dear experts,

I want to flash the internal SPI Flash of the CC3235MODSF module on launchpad board using J14 connector. I am using Cheetah SPI Host adapter and a tag connector (TC2050-IDC-NL).

I see that the pinout of the J14 footprint is not compatible with the pinout of the SPI adapter.

Is there any reason why they are different? How then TI is using this connector ?

Do I need to connect Reset to GND during the programming process or it's already done by the SPI adapter ?

Hi Brahim,

I was able to look into it today. What we have done before is connect the Cheetah SPI Host adapter to the tag connector (TC2050-IDC-NL) with cables to the correct pins, and not connect the ribbon cables directly.

During the programming process, you should connect the Reset to GND.

Hi Jessica,

That is what I did too. For future PCBs, I think it's better to change pinout of footprint so that the ribbon cable can be directly connected to the Cheetah.
