Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3130, CC3135
Hey Ti Team,
according to https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra458f/swra458f.pdf (january 2020) WFA70373 is the reference to be used when performing the action to create "A Derivative of Existing Product".
However this WFA number cannot be found in the Wi-Fi certification system (i.e. because it's not supported for derivatives anymore, see below)
According to wi-fi.org support team:
"The reason you are not able to select the source product WFA is due to the source product includes certification revisions that are now retired, and therefore the product is ineligible as to be used as a source for derivatives applications. Are you able to contact TI to enquire if they are going to update their source product to the currently required certification program revisions?"
Is there an update planned on CC3220SF devices WFA certification - especially since it now includes WPA3 security (when using most recent sdk and service pack).
Or is Wi-Fi support discontinued an the devices listed (especially CC3220SF) in SWRA458f will not (or cannot?) be updated ?
Best regards,
Jens
