Does the RSSI threshold value set by sl_WlanSet(SL_WLAN_CFG_GENERAL_PARAM_ID, Option, OptionLen, (_u8*)&ScanParamConfig) affect roaming?

HI Paul,
The RSSI threshold value set here will only affect the scan results.
Best regards,
Jesse
When roaming, how does the CC3100MOD automatically switch between a low rssi AP and a higher one? If I trigger a disconnect with sl_WlanDisconnect() should it automatically reconnect to the SSID in the profile?
Hi Paul,
If a disconnect is triggered, when auto-start connection policy is enabled, the device automatically tries to reconnect to one of its stored profiles each time the connection fails or the device is rebooted. If several profiles are configured, the device selects the highest priority profile. Within each priority group, the device chooses the profile based on the following parameters in descending priority: security policy, signal strength.
For more info, see sl_WlanProfileAdd and sl_WlanPolicySet in the CC3100/CC3200 Host Driver or in section 17.3 of the CC3100 User's Guide
Also note that roaming is not supported in CC3100 like it is in the Gen 3 SimpleLink devices (see sections 4.3.5 (RSSI trigger) and 4.3.6 (Soft-Roaming) of the CC3x20, CC3x3x NWP guide)
Best regards,
Jesse
Hi Paul,
Which line in your code specifically are you getting the 113 error from? Can you try turning off your second AP and see if you still get the error when disconnecting?
Can you post a code snippet please?
Best regards,
Jesse
