Hi Team,

Trying to get started with your cc3100 modboost and emu board and the document references a file in the sdk which doesn't exist for either the visual studio or eclipse versions. 3. Navigate to C:\TI\CC3100SDK_<x.x.x>\cc3100-
sdk\platform\simplelinkstudio\example_project_vs\getting_started_with_station , and open
getting_started.sln

Hi Mark,

It looks like the documentation you ran across might be out-of-date. Can you please share the document you are using so that it can be updated? I believe the project you are looking for would be in the following directory:

C:\ti\CC3100SDK_<x.x.x>\cc3100-sdk\platform\<HOST>\example_project_ccs\getting_started_with_wlan_station

A few questions for you:

- What version of the CC3100SDK are you using for development?

- What host are you using the Boost Board with? Please choose the version of the project in the folder associated with the host.

- Can you please share the document you are referencing?

Hi,

I can provide few comments, because it very history thing...

At CC31xx SDK version 1.2 and earlier there was capability to use as host platform Visual Studio (or Eclipse) at computer with CC3100BOOST + CC31XXEMUBOOST. This support was removed from SDK 1.3 but release notes and documentation was not updated as usually.

Hi Ryan, according to our customer, they are using visual studio to work on this but they are hoping to use eclipse instead.

Hi Mark,

The .sln file was out-of-date and thus removed. For the most recent documentation on this example, please look at the attached .pdf. This comes straight from the cc3100-sdk examples folder.
