CC3235MODS: LAUNCHCC3235MOD transceiver mode

I'm using CC3235OMOD in transceiver mode for factory automation application.

I was able to set GPIO mode as 'dynamic' using comon.syscfg at CCS version 10.4.0
But I found no dynamic mode at CCS version 11.1.0.0.11
I need to change input/output mode of a GPIO port at program. How can I do that at CCS 11.1.0.0.11?
Why upgraded CCS doesn't provide dynamic mode of GPIO?

Specifically, under the Initializing the GPIO Driver section it states:

GPIO_init() must be called before any other GPIO APIs. This function configures each GPIO pin in the user-provided GPIO_PinConfig array according to the defined settings. The user can also reconfigure a pin dynamically after GPIO_init() is called by using the GPIO_setConfig(), and GPIO_setCallback() APIs.

GPIO_init() is called from Board_init() by default. Calling GPIO_init() multiple times is safe.
