CC3220SF: How to program without Debug Probe.

I have programmed CC3220 using UNIFLASH 6.4.0 connecting through XDS110 DEBUG PROBE.

I need to program it without the debug probe.

I tried using USB to serial converter but UNIFLASH does not detect the com port for it hence it did not work.

Is there any way to program CC3220 without debug probe?

Hi,

You can use:

Uniflash CLI - see SWRU469 at chapter 7.
Uniflash GUI with manually set port like this.
You can use embedded programming or programming SPI flash directly via 3rd party programmer.

Is there no way to select COM port from UNIFLASH GUI itself??

this way is not productive.

Hi,

No. But you can set COM port for GUI via command line.

I did not agree, that using command line is not productive. Why you not use .bat file with command?

I agree sir, I am using command line, but having COM port selection in the GUI itself would have been way more easier (user perspective).

Sir, when i use command line UNIFLASH gets popped in my web browser, and it does not connect to my COM port

Hi,

Uniflash GUI is tool for developers not for production or end-user. I think from this reason is usage of command line for settings of parameters fastest way.

Sorry, I don't understand your 2nd question.

Be aware that during Uniflash programming may to be mandatory restart your device (depending of SOP mode). It may to be needed do this restart manually because Uniflash via RX, TX lines is not able do this.
