Hi,

We are trying to get our product Bluetooth certified, we are using Variscite's VAR-SOM-MX6 Single board computer which uses both single band WL1831MOD, WL1835MOD and Dual band WL1837.

The hardware QDIDs (156961, 156966) are up to date, but the software QDIDs (69886, 69887) are expired, I have searched the forum and found some folks also had this issue couple of years ago but the solution was still under review, are there new QDIDs released for software. Please help, we are at a critical juncture of our product production and we will not be able to ship if this issue is not solved.

What are the QDIDs that have substituted 69886 & 69887?

Someone from my company suggested that Profile Subsystem - QDID 185918 will also work with this, is that correct?

Hi Bhavani,

QDID 185918 is actually for TI - Bluetopia Profile Subsystem 3. We are in the process of uploading this to TI.com. Which hardware platform are you using? Since this is WL8, do you plan to use BluetopiaPM?

Hi Jacob,

we are using the SOM module from Variscite VAR-SOM-MX6 it comes with two variants of bluetooth modules

1. WL1831MOD, WL1835MOD marked as WL18MODGB.

2. WL1837 dual band version module marked as WL18MODGI

We are planning to use BluetopiaPM if it's QDID has not expired, QDID 185918 seems to be active so we are trying to use it.

Also,

1. Can you please tell me when will this stack be uploaded on TI?

2. Is it possible to gain access to it now

and

3. Can you also point me to the Bluetopia Profile2 download please.

1. The stack should be uploaded to TI.com by the end of August.

2. No.
