CC3200STK-WIFIMK: Sensortag

Part Number: CC3200STK-WIFIMK

Hi Experts,

Our customer bought TI c3200 Sensortag and is having trouble connecting it. When he turn the sensor tag ON it just beeps one time and no light. And when he tries to reset it as mentioned on the docs it do the same thing.

He would like to have something on how the c3200 sensor tag sends data like data structure info or something. I hope you can help us. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Gerald

  • Hello Gerald,

Is the client able to to find the  AP with his phone?

If he can, we can at least confirm the sensortag is going to ap mode.

In regards to data structure info, unfortunately the source code isnt available due to SAR regulations. If you look at this e2e thread (LINK) it explains it a bit more.

In the thread it also suggests looking into the "CC3220 LaunchPad + the SENSORS-BOOSTXL, using the CC3220 SDK and the SAIL Plugin
www.ti.com/.../simplelink-cc3220-sdk (you can see access to both firmware packages here)"

    Kind regards,

    Rogelio

  • Hi Rogelio,

Please see below for our customer feedback:
"No its not going into AP mode. It just beeps once how many time do i have to explain that? "

Also, the customer is not getting any error messages. The device won’t turn on as indicated by the 3 red blinking light. It just beep once even if he try to reset it.

I hope you can further help. Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Gerald
