CC3100: measuring RSSI, code examples.

Hi team, helping a customer with this issue. He would like to measure the RSSI value using these devices, and from a quick look, this looks feasible.

Are there design resources or a reference demo that gets started?

He does have the Windows tool called CC3XXXRADIOTEST, but needs the device to operate as a receiver without a computer and log the values. In other cases, we have seen design resources that help transition these type of applications. Can you point me in the right direction?
