Hi Team,

Such as the question, the configuration is no problem, because it was generated. I changed the name of the output file that was generated, it could not be generated. I tried many times in the middle, sometimes it can be generated, sometimes it cannot be generated, why?

There is no problem with compiling, and the clean is regenerated, but it does not work

It seems that only by changing the , syscfg will a new flash file be generated!

    Im not sure I fully understand your question. Are you trying to create an image? Also, what platform are you using, Code Composer or Uniflash?

    Hi Rogelio,

    Customer uses IAR. .out and .bin should be generated when compiling, but sometimes it doesn't generate. If he changes the configuration interface that appears in the process, these two files can be generated. If it is not changed, even if he changes the program, these two files will not be regenerated.

    I am still having a hard time understanding the situation in which the error is occurring. If you could send me screenshots of the errors and configuration changes the customer makes, I could better help you debug the situation.

    Hi Rogelio,

    No way to take a screenshot, because there is no error. Under normal circumstances, if the customer has changed the program, the .out and .bin files should be generated under Debug->Exe when compiling. Now there is no error in the compilation, but no .out and .bin files are generated under Debug->Exe. 

    This interface will pop up when compiling. 

    • If he changes something in this interface, the probability that .out and .bin files can be generated is relatively high.
    • If he does not change this interface and only changes the program, the .out and .bin files will basically not be generated.

    Hi Annie,

    After downloading IAR twice (I had to get my hands on an older version) I wasnt able to reproduce the issue. I would suggest to make sure your client Cleans the project before building it again. Unfortunately I am not as familiar in using IAR to debug further.
