CC3235S: semaphore in UART Polling APIs

Hi,

I am using SDK 6.10 and TI RTOS. (not 7)

I have a question about the UART driver.

Are UART_xxxPolling APIs handled internally using shared resource handles like semaphores about UART handle? API comments are only marked as blocked.

Yes, it does. What is the concern?

If you are just starting, please use the newer implementation of UART2 as UART_xxx will become obsolete in future SDKs.

BTW, you can check the sources under <SDK-ROOT>/source/ti/drivers/

The Report function defined as UART_PRINT used in the network_terminal example calls the UART_writePolling() function.

I was concerned about using UART_PRINT in multiple threads.
