Hi there, we are planning to launch a series of new Wi-Fi based products, and we are interested on using TI made Wi-Fi pre-certified modules. Any recommendation? We need it to be be able to connect at 2.4 & 5 GHz, no EOL defined yet, good inventory availability and FCC pre-certified are key factors to consider. Any recommendation is very welcome. Hi Eduardo,

You can search through or catalog of Wi-Fi products here, and to find our modules filter to filter type "QFM".

Although if you need 2.4 & 5 GHz I recommend the CC3x35 Modules. For example the CC3235MODASF has a multiple-core architecture, system-on-chip (SoC). It also includes an integrated PCB antenna for easy integration into the host system. Do you have any other requirements? There is also the CC3135MOD with less features, but at a lower cost and still able to connect at 2.4 & 5 GHz.

Hi Jessica, I appreciate your quick reply and I am sorry to be a lil late in mine. Yes, I like the modules you recommended, but I am a somehow worried about the very short inventory available for the CC3235MODS and the CC3235MODAS. We need the module to be FCC/IC/CE-RED pre-certified, with double Micro (Wi-Fi + Application) and able to run at both 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz bands. But stock availability is super important for us because we estimate a high demand for our new products. Could you please tell me if you have other options that would fit our requirements?

Hi Eduardo,

The best fit for your requirements will still be the CC3235MODx and/or CC3235MODAx. The supply should not be a concern, as you can see here there is at least a supply of 1k devices.
