WL1807MOD: WL1807 Throughput is low

Hi,

our system use WL1807 and OS : Debian 11, when test the throughput (5G), the transmission rate is very low, about 60~90Mbps/sec, do we need to updated HT80 script?

It is easy to disconnect when ping with AP. and fter disconnection, the IP will disappear, it needs to be restarted to recover.

please help us to find out solution, Thank you.

This E2E only for request script, please provide the script HT20, HT40, HT80 for throughput testing.

And the disconection issue will open another E2E.

HI,

WiLink8 doesn't support HT80

Make sure SIS40 is enabled in wl18xx-conf.bin

Does the WL1807 support 802.11n 5G mode? and the 5G mode support the SISO or MIMO? thank you.

Hey Jerry,

1. Yes we do support 802.11n at 5GHz, and it uses SISO but not MIMO.
2. You should be able to achieve close to 90mbps at 5G. I recommend you look at https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-group/wifi/f/wi-fi-forum/553129/wl1837-low-throughput
