WL1837MOD: GE Healthcare - China certification - Spurious emission above limit at 2472 MHz

Part Number: WL1837MOD

Hello team,

I am supporting GE Healthcare who is using WL1837MOD in their product called Vscan Air CL. They are doing the China certification for their product.

Issue Faced: They reached out to us informing that during the testing, they found out that the spurious emission is above limit at 2472 MHz. I also collected the below details from them.

  • Conducted emission done thru a u.FL to SMA connector connected to an Agilent spectrum analyzer
  • Calibrator tool used to set up device TX
  • Wilink firmware details from output of ifconfig wlan0 up - PHY firmware revision (as per logs) is Rev 8,2.0.0.245, firmware booted (as per logs) is Rev 8.9.0.0.88.
  • Test procedure and images are attached to this post

Regards,

Shashank
