WL1837MOD: GE Healthcare - China certification - Spurious emission above limit at 2472 MHz

• Client is using the WL1837MOD_INI_FCC_CE_JP.INI - however, ch13 power is set to minimum.

If the TX power is above the limit, it may be of use to try lowering the max TX power of the device at ch13.

What is the test procedure (e.g. are you using calibrator tool?), and what is the hardware setup. When doing conducted testing, do you know what is the resulting TX power after accounting for the path loss?

Are you using the Calibrator tool commands when running this "./start_tx_test.sh"?  Have you referred to the "WiLink8 Calibrator Tool User's Guide" https://www.ti.com/lit/swru562  to lower the transmitted TX power correctly?

Have you tried to lower the Ch13 TX power by modifying the "PerChanPwrLimitArr11ABG Usage" of the WL1837MOD_INI_FCC_CE_JP.ini file. When doing so I recommend you refer to the "WL18xx .INI File User Guide" (https://www.ti.com/lit/swru422)? 

Having the Antenna on the other side of the board is concerning for the RF performance. When designing a board like this I recommend you refer to our WL18xx Module Hardware Integration Guide and Design Checklist found at https://www.ti.com/tool/WILINK-DESIGN-REVIEWS.

They have already done this as I highlighted in my previous post.

The attached images only show the PCB without the UF.L connected, unless they are doing radiated test with the PCB antenna?

The attached test procedure did not include the "./start_tx_test.sh" script that is being called upon. I can only assume the test script contains various calibrator commands, but cannot determine what exactly is being sent.

This information would be helpful to figure out if the TX power is actually being lowered on ch13, or if some command is incorrect.
