In our formal SW package the reference platform is AM243.
The AM243 is a bit high-end (MCU+) but we can work (over SPI/SDIO) with most MCUs (especially those based on M4/M33) where the main requirement is for a large flash / RAM - at least 1MB of program for the required network and TLS stacks + application (if the application is very simple it can be a little bit less) + ~400KB of cc33xx firmware that can be located on an external serial flash.
