I am using the AM62-LP board in which I need to use the M2-CC3301 Wi-Fi module.

Kindly help me with the steps and required SDK for the same.

Hi Praveen,

We have just released version 1.0.0.0 of CC33XX linux driver however it is for AM335x. We are currently working on a release for AM62 boards.

I hope to update you by end of next week.

Is Wi-Fi direct supported by this module?

Hi Praveen,

We currently do not offer Wi-Fi direct on CC33XX. However, it may be added as a new feature later this year.

Hi Praveen,

Yes, the WL1837 does support Wi-Fi direct. You can use the Processor SDK AM62x, and you can follow the guide for P2P here: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru576/swru576.pdf
