WL1807MOD: WoWLan wake up - buffer - details needed

Part Number: WL1807MOD

Hi,

This is query regarding wakeup based on packet filtering in WL1807.

according to document [https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru576/swru576.pdf?ts=1709203368244&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F] section : 6.3.2 Rx Filter Configuration,

Once enabled, WoWLAN patterns are searched by the chip firmware in every incoming data packet. Once a
pattern is detected the chip wakes up the host.

1. If so, what will happen to non-matched packets?. in our testing, we found they're getting stored & sent out to the host once system wakes up.
2. is it expected? if so, what is the maximum storage size/ buffer size allowed to store?

This information is very important for designing our low power system. Kindly help out.

BR,
Anantha R
