CC3300: mcu selection

Hi,

I am planning to connect the CC3300 with the STM32H7 controller. What are the things I should check? Is the CC3300 supported with STM32? Are the CC3300 driver files available for STM32?

Hello Sudheerthan,

The CC3300 does not have stm32 support. Currently the only official software released for the cc3300 are linux distributions

However, we do have the developmental MCU release in the secure resources which you will have to request access to.

You would have to do the porting yourself, (OS, SPI, UART, GPIOS)

hi rogelio,

thanks for the information,so CC33XX-SW is used for what purpose?, using spi or usart could I connect cc3300 with stm32 controller ?is that possible ?

Hello,

That SW has all the wifi drivers and FW for our device. Yes you will need spi and uart.
