WL1271 Can't connect

I'm getting one strange problem with ./wlan_cu.

root@omap3evm:~/wlan# ./wlan_cu
ERROR - IpcWpa_Sockets_Open - can't connect the socket

Connection to supplicant failed
******************************************************
user_main, start

Does anyone have an idea of what went wrong?

It seems supplicant is not running. Does the wlan_cu accept any commands (scan, connect) ? Please check whether the wpa_suppicant program is running or not using 'ps' command. If you still face problems, please post the logs on the forum. Also, the wlan_cu can be run without wpa_supplicant by executing "./wlan_cu -b ".
