Customer is considering whether it is possible to use CC3220 with two AAA batteries (1.5V). The application is sensor module and the communication timing is 10times/day with 5byte data.

    Hi,

    This will be likely possible, but pretty impractical due to small capacity of 2x AAA. It will likely need boost converter together with supercap. I think for practical usage it will need at least 4x AAA.

    It is not important that size of user data is 5B only. Because much bigger overhead will have PHY calibration, WLAN connection phase, DHCP, TCP/UDP header...
