CC3220S-LAUNCHXL: The CC3220S-LAUNCHXL device does not upload image files from Uniflash.

Part Number: CC3220S-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

When I program an image for the radio tool in Uniflash,
I get the error message :
"Operation failed: Error: SLImageCreator.exe: BootLoaderError, Timeout reading data."
So, when I go into Uniflash's tools and select "Read CSR,"
I get this error message:
"Error: Get CSR Error: Error: SLImageCreator.exe: BootLoaderError, Timeout reading data."
How can I fix this?
  • Hi,

Can you explain the steps that led you to this error? Some images of what you did step by step would be nice in case you made a mistake and I can potentially point you in the right direction. As for CSR, I'm not sure what you did before selecting "Read CSR," but we have a Simplelink Academy that can guide you to successfully conduct a CSR request.

Good luck, and I'll be here if you need additional assistance.

  • Hello,

I used Uniflash to use the CC3220S-LAUNCHXL module with the Radio Tool.
First, I downloaded Uniflash version 9.3.0 and CC32XX/CC32XX Radio Tool v1.0.3.19.
When I programmed the C:\ti\CC3xxx_RadioTool_1.0.3.191\Device Images\CC3220S image\Programming.sli file with Uniflash, an error occurred. I haven't tried any other methods.

I have two modules, and the image for one was loaded correctly and appears correctly in Radio Tool.
  • Hi,

Thank you for your clear directions. I'll run through programming the radio tool file with Uniflash and let you know what I get.

  • Hi Seung,

I am unable to reproduce your error. You said the following in your previous comment:

I have two modules, and the image for one was loaded correctly and appears correctly in Radio Tool.

Is there a chance you can replicate the process that allowed the image to load correctly on one of the modules?

Meanwhile, the following screenshots indicate what I did:

After clicking program image, I got a notification that the programming worked successfully. By the way I am using Uniflash 8.2.
