  • Hi,

What do you see when you open the drop down menu or click refresh? Any chance the following hint could help?

    XDS Emulation Software (EMUPack) Download

  • Hello BLiu,

Thanks for your quick support. I was not able to see anything in drop-down menu because its was not loading. Now I downloaded the XDS Emulation Software (EMUPack) Download and checked. The device information is not loading by SimpleLink WiFi Toolbox.

    Thanks,

    Ashok

  • Hi, can I see your hardware configuration? I did this on my desk just now and got device information.

  • Hi  ,

Thank you for your support !

    1. I am using LP-AM243 Launchpad with BP-CC33XXMOD sdk. The power supply is 5V 3A.

    2. The port info.

    3. I have flashed TI CC3301 SDK. I am able to communicate with hardware by commands like (wlan_start, wlan_connect etc.) using the Tera Term. but unfortunately, I am not able to read the device information by SimpleLink WiFi Toolbox. I am trying to use the SimpleLink WiFi Toolbox to understand the send/recv commands. I configufred 1. wlan_start  2. wlan_ap_role_up 3. I connected that access point to my  Laptop and trying to give send command but I am getting below error. rest of the commands are working.

I have highlighted the error msg with yellow color. Instead of 10.0.0.4 it is replying 0.0.0.4. if I entered 172.31.54.141 then it will reply 0.31.54.141. I am not sure what is happening inside?

also I tried with CC3301 station mode, restarted the device too.

    Thanks,

    Ashok

  • Hi Ashok,

A workaround you could use is have the XDS110 that you usually plug into the CC35X1 board, but what do you need the device information for? It will only provide the following information:

I'll look into your socket error next. Thanks for your patience.

  • Hi BLiu,

Thanks for the workaround you suggested. but, unfortunately I don't have the CC35X1 board now.

    Thanks,

    Ashok

  • Hi, I'm not talking about using the CC35X1 board, but I'm referring to these pins:

The black ones on the CC33XX which you can plug an XDS110 into there and try.
