HI：

I want to use CC3100(with uart interface) in a arm platform which is use linux， Is there any porting guide can help

me? Should I do some changes in linux uart driver? Or just do porting in user space?

Hi Hao,

Get the SDK and have a look at the SimpleLink_Api in the Documents folder, and open the programmers guide, it provide details on porting code - http://www.ti.com/tool/cc3100sdk

I have read it already, but I think the information is not enough.

I try to connet the CC3100BOOST to the host(a linux platform)with uart, I try to find more information about the hardware connection.

Not sure I can assist any further, I develop on Macintosh and Windows, so have little experience with Linux. Perhaps someone with more experience with Linux and porting will step in.

Hi Hao,

The UART driver you need is a standard UART working with hardware flow control (CTS/RTS).

You can have a look on TI wiki pages for more information about the UART interface at the following link:
