I bought this cc3200 yesterday i downloaded the example provided in energia and it worked fine first.After some time when i plugged it into usb it didnt get on at all.But i went on to program the chip when it started downloading from the enegia all the LED's switched on but with lesser brightness and it was showing in energia FAILED to trigger bootloader.when i press reset button D1 LED on the board switches off and all LED's glow normal

What may be the reason plz reply ASAP .

Hi,

Have you tried the out of box example program? Have you tried to run any examples from CC3200 SDK either through debugging through CCS or loading program through Uniflash?

I am not sure what is occurring, but you may want to ensure you have enough power from the USB port of the your PC and also that all connections were correctly inserted.

I tried out of box example and tried loading program with UNIFLASH but it is same.read ack failed try restarting the device .

Hi,

An Energia expert would respond soon but in the meantime, have you tried using the Uniflash tool?

If you download the latest SDK and the Uniflash you would be able to check if flashing works. It also have the option to restore to default by formatting, loading the latest ServicePack and programming of the application binary.
