WLAN EVENT issue (Unexpected event 0x3)

Hey all,

My customer is having an issue with their CC3200 LaunchPad.

Here's his process:

1) The pins are set up for jtag mode.

2)The board gets flashed. The application that's flashed to it is based off the wifi audio app. It's meant to capture audio and transmit/receive, push to talk.

3) The firmware gets kicked off, waiting for auto-connect.

4) Auto-profile fails at this point. Then he tries to manually connect via the app.

5) (PROBLEM) Then he gets this "[WLAN EVENT] Unexpected event [0x3]"

Any clue as to how he can fix this?

FYI, service pack 10012 is integrated.

Hello,
Client having the issue here. I'd just like to add for troubleshooting purposes:
We have 3 boards in-house currently, 2 boards experience the issue, 1 does not.

All three are tested with the same firmware, same service pack, same everything.
The MAC addresses are different as not to have any clobbering/issues with the access point.

Hi JP,

0x3 indicates smartconfig procedure completed and AP profile saved. The log message appearing as this event is not handled in SimpleLinkWlanEventHandler(). Deos device able to get the IP?

After the 0x3 event, the app does not go into functional mode and the SmartConfig app eventually times out.

Checking DHCP, it does not pull an IP.
