how to solve the error "No source available for "0x978e" "?

I am working on my own design for cc3200. I am using CCS and have connected all JTAG (4 Pins) of my CC3200 board to CC3200 Launchpad. when I try to debug the project from CCS it is giving me error as "No source available for "0x978e" ". I can't understand what does it mean?

Can anyone help me to solve this issue.

another problem I am facing is how to use uniflash to load serial flash on my cc3200 board. I have connected UART pins & GND of my cc3200 board to J6, J7 (pin 1) and GND of IT cc3200 Launchpad.

I also have XDS100v2 but do not know how to connect it to my CC3200 board.

I am really close to deadline. If anyone can help me here.

Did you try to Load (JTAG) and just Run the program, not stepping? And does the Blinking LED continues blinking?

ya just run no stepping. and I can not say about blinking as I am not using this pin for led but I checked pin on CRO I did not get pulses.

no I did not flash it. I load it using (JTAG).

Same: Then try to Flash this with or without Erase.

you mean do not tick Erase/Update/Verify in any system file in uniflash.
If I do so then I am not getting any fatal error. and that is probably right method.
probably user should not tick Erase/Update/Verify for system files; I am reading guidelines on this.

in my board using uniflash;
without Erase/Update/Verify ticked for /sys/files;
loading (in flash) C:\ti\CC3200SDK_1.0.0\cc3200-sdk\example\blinky\ccs\Release\blinky.bin;
no fatal error message in console;
jumper position on my board SOP2 connected and SOP1/0 open

then new jumper position on my board all SOP jumpers open; then restarted the board.

still not getting any pulses (blinkings) on pin 64,1,2 (pin 64,1,2 are the defined GPIO; connected to LED in that project by TI).

When Flash is empty you can’t Erase it and without this option you don’t get the error, but Update and Verify yes.

Summary;
You can Flash & JTAG download a program -> clock, processor & ROM seems to work.
Running a program (is always from RAM) rises an exception and Halts the program.

Possible reasons;
Vdd_RAM error. Capacitor too far from CC3200 or badly routed to GND. Add an extra ~10-22nF ceramic capacitor –very- close to the CC3200. This applies in principle to all Vdd pins.
Excess of power use or spikes due to floating unused ports. Connect port pin to Vcc or GND.

If the decoupling Vdd capacitors are not directly (straight) connected to the CC3200 GND_TAB, it’s better to remove them and place a new –directly- routed capacitor.

Hi we had the same issue and found that the chip we used is actually 128KB type and the code generated was for 256 type. All please check the chip for M1 or M2 type and change your code accordingly..
