Thought Ill post a reply of my experience regarding this thread so that its beneficial to others as well.
So, I did buy FuelTank booster pack and was able to successfully install and boot CC3200 Launchpad with it. Note that there are some caveats here.
I2C lines(and few other lines as well) on 20 pin interface on FuelTank pack doesnt align with whats on Launchpad, so you are not able to talk to GasGauge chip on FuelTank Boosterpack from CC3200/Launchpad(if you want to monitor the battery), but the good thing is 5V/3.3V/GND pins aligns and so you can plugin the FuelTank on to CC3200 launchpad and it should work just ok.
Of course, you can rework on the boards so that you can align the I2C lines to get the Gas Gauge working.

I bought that from newark.com few months ago, but I believe they no longer manufacture it as I see from their website.
