I'm working with the CC3220MODSF-launchXL and i would like to use the wifi-direct mode to connect my computer to the card.
My PC (HP probook 650G2 - windows 10) doesn't seem to support wifi-direct but, from what i read, this should not be a problem (or am I already wrong from here?)
However, simply by using the p2pstart command in the network_terminal example project, i cannot succeed to actually see, in the list of accessible wifi points on my computer, the "mysimplelink" GO (or is this not how it is supposed to work?) .
I modified, from the basic code example, the wifi-direct policy to force the CC3220 in GO Mode with the second flag (Negotiation initiator) set to SL_WLAN_P2P_NEG_INITIATOR_ACTIVE.
Is it normal that my computer doesn't see the CC3220 in that mode (because it doesn't support wifi direct)? Or is there something to do in the CC3220 initialisation to make it "visible" to non wifi direct devices?
