Linux/WL1835MOD: wilink driver - issue a DHCP request after Change of Authorization

Is there a way to configure the wilink driver on linux to get around this bug? https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCuj45983

I can't re-configure my customer's access point, so I have to be able to send a DHCP request after Change of Authorization.DHCP.xlsx

Humm.. How does the Linux get the "change of authorization" request? Is it a RADIUS related message?

Yes, RADIUS is in play here, but no actual message is sent. It is during the key rotation sequence - after Deauth-DisAssoc-Reauth-ReAssoc - the WLC will implicitly enter the DHCP_REQD (7) state but the station has no intention of doing a re-DHCP and then 2 minutes later the WLC kicks out the station.

AFAIK, this is not possible from inside the drivers.
Perhaps it is better to post it to a general Linux networking forum, as this doesn't seem specific to one chipset.
Someone may have an idea on how to detect it from upper layers?
