CCS/CC3200: Install TI-RTOS for SimpleLink from the CCS App Center

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have installed CCS 7.3 .

I want to install TI_RTOS for Simplelink from CCS App Center so that I could exercise sample projects. However I can not locate any TI-RTOS module in the app center.

I installed tirtos_cc32xx_2_16_01_14 manually. If the CCS App center fails to locate TI-RTOS for CC32xx related modules, how could I utilize this tirtos_cc32xx_2_16_01_14?

Any help?

Hi,

Can you try restarting the Code composer, it should scan for new software automatically.

Hi Cahide Sen,

I had this issue two days ago, where I was following a wlan station project on the T.I channel on YouTube and they showed the TI_RTOS software and CC3200 add on that needs to be installed coming from the app center. Unfortunately the video on the TI channel on YouTube was done 3 years ago so I guess they have been doing changes which not all are reflected on some of the docs that we see.

But you will find the TI_RTOS in resource explorer instead, that's where I found it and I was able to install it. I hope this helps. Cheers man!
