Hello,

I am balaji, i am facing problem while importing a Getting_Started_with_WLAN_Station example from CC3100SDK. I am Getting a java.lang.nullpointerexception error. And i am am using CCS6.1.1 version. Please help me to resolve this problem. I am CC3100 bxl with TM4C123GH6PM launchpad.

Could you tell me when you're getting the java.lang.nullpointerexception error? The more details you provide about when / how you're getting this error, the better I'll be able to assist you.

Hello Kristen,

Thank you for the response.I am getting that error when i was importing a project from CC3100SDK. At the last step of importing i am getting the error. And one more thing i want to know is in what type of situations we will get this error.

Hi Balaji,

Have you successfully run any other TM4C examples in that installed version of CCS before?

If not, then I think you did not add device support for TM4C during your CCS installation. To remedy this, you can rerun the CCS installer (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS), and you should be able to modify your installation (if that is not possible, you may need to just reinstall CCS). During installation, make sure to add TM4C support.
