For me ask, I want implement spi+dma, but I not found example for this not same as of cc3200 have example dma+spi.

Hi Nguyen,

The DMA is integrated into the operation of the CC3220 SPI driver. If you open /source/ti/drivers/spi/SPICC32XXDMA.c, you will see how the implementation of the SPI driver uses DMA driverlib to handle data into and out of the SPI FIFO.

Hi Nguyen,

With the CC3220 SDK, the spimaster and corresponding spislave examples are the SPI DMA examples. The SPI peripheral control, as well as the DMA transfer handling is abstracted away from you through the use of the high level SPI_*() driver calls. Thus, while you do not see the low-level driverlib calls at the application level, the example shows how you can leverage the SimpleLink driver APIs to perform the same SPI+DMA operation you want.

Let me know if you have any questions on the examples or need further clarification on the operation of the SPI driver on the CC3220.

Currently I am confused, I found forum e2e.ti.com combined spi dma seems hard on cc3220 , seems cc3200 easier spi dma

Hi Nguyen,

The CC3220 examples already have SPI + DMA built in. You do not need to implement the SPI + DMA interaction, as the drivers handle everything for your application. If you run the spimaster on one CC3220 launchpad, and connect to another CC3220 launchpad running the spislave example, you will be running SPI + DMA on both ends.

So in example driver/spimaster and driver/spislave use spi+dma and data save on buffer of dma.
