TIDM-1020: CC3220 SF and BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 : Kentec QVGA Display BoosterPack

Part Number: TIDM-1020

Greetings,

Not sure If I am missing something. Sorry if I did.

Attaching the Display to the CC3220 Launchpad as per the reference design to a working project results in the error below:

IcePick_C: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1265 @ 0x0) Device ID is not recognized or is not supported by driver. Confirm device and debug probe configuration is correct, or update device driver. (Emulation package 8.0.27.9)

I saw an older post from 2017 here but I think there should be a more updated solution to this problem.

Thanks for your hints to make the Reference Design work.

Rgds,

Marc

  • Hi Marc,

There is a conflict with JTAG pins TDI and TDO and BP pins (LCD_RST, TOUCH_XN). You need to change to SWD (2-wire JTAG) and issue with debug will be fixed. But it seems there is more compatibility issues:
    - LCD_SDC
    - LED_PWM
    - etc.
