CC3200-LAUNCHXL: unable to use special characters as passwords for wifi

I'm using cc3200 along with cc2640 (BLE) which is connected through UART

I'm getting the wifi credentials through an app and sending them via UART to the wifi.

I'm able to use all normal characters, but when i try to use some special characters or some complex passwords (user requirement), it just doesn't connect.

Is there a limitation as to how a password can be with restrictions to the usage of special characters or is the problem with the code

please help!

If using accepted characters, you should check whether you're changing the data type somewhere during transfer.
