CC3120BOOST: Not found in the booster pack compatibility checker

Hi, We are trying to determine if the SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® CC3120 wireless network processor BoosterPack can be used with the LaunchPad F28379D development board. The CC3100BOOST shows up as a compatible booster pack with the LaunchPad F28379D when using https://dev.ti.com/bpchecker/#/, but the CC3120 does not show up as a valid booster pack. Is the CC3120 booster pack an identical replacement for the CC3100BOOST? Does anyone know who I can contact at TI to get them to add the CC3120 to the booster pack compatibility tool (assuming I am using the tool correctly)? Also would example code for the LaunchPad F2837D using the CC3100 work with the CC3120 board? Thanks in advance for your help.

Paul,

Yes, the pin out for the CC3120 is the same as CC3100, so the either boosterpack should be compatible.

That being said, please be aware we have no support or examples that showcase using the C2000 devices with the CC31xx devices. If you are looking to use a C2000 and add Wi-Fi, your best bet is to get a CC32xx device, and use UART to communicate between the two boards.
