CC3200STK-WIFIMK: Connect to Watson IoT Platform

Hi -

I have two SensorTags, one is very new, the other is six months old.

Both are connecting to the WIOT platform but returning the following error message: "Closed connection. The topic is not valid: Client The topic does not match an authorized rule."

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

    Hi TI -

    I have two SensorTags.  Both have problems:

    1. A new SensorTag that seems to be working fine the but iOS application doesn't show it in the WiFi devices list.  I see others having similar problems solved the problem with old phones and old iOS versions but that's not available to me (iPhone 11 with iOS 13).  

    2. I have an old SensorTag and it works fine but won't OTA Update.  Even with new batteries and multiple factory resets.

    Is there another way around either issue?

    1. Unfortunately there is no way around this issue currently. We are working to resolve these issues regarding the reliability of our mobile app. In the meantime, using an older phone would be best. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

    2. This issue might also be related to the first. If you can progress this far to the app sometimes try it again but this time with your mobile connection off.
