Hi everyone,

I am working currently this days on a IOT network. We need to send data from a sensortag LPSTK -CC1352R to internet. I hesitate between 2 solutions the first one is the module CC3235MODSF which have a puce wifi and use BLE coexistance to switch between wifi and BLE. The second one is the "Bluetooth Smart to Wi-Fi IoT Gateway" which use two puces the CC3200 and the CC26XX which communicate via UART on one single board. But i don't find it on the markets sites. I don't find other solution so if there are that help me a lot.

I would like to know what is the best solution for a bluetooth gateway according to TI thanks.

Hi Perrin,

Will you be using only BLE on the CC1352, or will you also be using Sub1-GHz? If you are using Sub1-GHz, I suggest you take a look at the following resources:

If you're using BLE, then I suggest using the CC3235 with a CC2640 device. Some documentation on that solution can be found here: http://www.ti.com/lit//swra608

The CC3200-based EVM is a TI Design that is meant as a demo and proof-of-concept and is not available for sale. I suggest you use the CC3235 resources linked above as the starting point for your gateway.

Hi Michael,

First of all thanks you for your response, i apreciate. Indeed I am using BLE connection so the best solution i think is the BLE coexistence but I would like to now if we could use the CC1352P-2 instead of CC2640. The CC1352P-2 uses BLE there is no problem from this side and it's pretty the same SDK for both devices. So the configuration would be the CC3235SF for wifi antenna, connected by GPIO with the CC1352P-2 for the BLE antenna as the document explains.

Hi Michael,

I see the document that you gave me and i have somes concernes. How do we connecte the device using the stack bluetooth with the the CC3235SF using wifi stack ? I mean what GPIO are used for BLE Coexistence ? And What are the pins for the RF connection ?
