CC3235MODSF: CC3235MODSF: cc3235 - i2c slave - no TX_FIFO_EMPTY IRQ happens when flag is set.

Part Number: CC3235MODSF

I reported an I2C issue and most probably a bug on this forum.

My forum entry got locked and for months now I do not get an answer for my question.

Please reopen and answer.

  • Hi,

Thanks for bringing your thread to my attention again.

I never had a change to test out the I2C slave operation of the CC3235 unfortunately. While the code you provided is thorough, it is only one part of the code needed to respond to and handle a I2C transfer, as pieces such as the interrupt handlers are parts I need to implement. There doesn't exist a reference for using the CC3235 I2C interface in slave mode, and the latest SDK use the newer high-level TI drivers, preventing much code reuse.

I will try to take a look at it sometime soon, but as the holidays are approaching there might not be the time to do so before the end of the year. I appreciate your understanding, and please feel free to reach out to your local TI field sales office if you have any concerns regarding the timeframe provided.

    Regards,
    Michael
