Hi TI!

I need to develop an application that receives data via UART and sends it via WIFI.

Can I use the CC3220MODAS for this application?
The idea is to have my custom application and the WIFI stack on the CC3220MODAS. Is it possible?
I think so but I would like to confirm if I am missing something.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can. CC3220 is good choice for such a job.

    Depending on size of your application it  may to be reasonable select CC3220MODSF or CC3235MODASF if dual band WiFi (2.4+5GHz) will be needed. SF devices have 256kB RAM + 1 MB XIP flash, S devices have 256kB RAM only. At SF devices is code executed from XIP flash. At S devices is code executed from RAM.
