CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: How can add UART1 to syscfg file with using of P55 as TX and P57 as RX

Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi Dear;

I want to add UART1 to syscfg file with using of P55 as TX and P57 as RX.  But there is no possible selection of Pin55 as TX and Pin57 as RX on the syscfg GUI. Pin55 and Pin57 does not shown on the selection list about UART. What is the reason of this and how can I add UART1 on the syscfg?

Best Regards

  • Hello,

    By default, the .syscfg file is limited by the default LaunchPad configuration. To see all pin mux options, open the board view from the top right of the SysConfig menu, and click "Use Custom Board".

    You should also be able to create a UART instance, open the PinMux drop-down menu, and change the UART peripheral there.

    Best regards,

    Sarah
