Hello,

I bought a AP of Japan's domestic product for testing.

But the SSIDs (of 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz) are not scanned on the CC3235modsf.

Currently my device has a problem that cannot scan 5 Ghz.

So I expected only 2.4Ghz can be scanned but it wasn't also.

I checked the AP's configurations but nothing special and the SSIDs are scanned on smartphones(even with very old one) normally.

The AP supports 802.11ax. Could it be a problem?

I changed the country code to "JP" but it didn't work.

Hi Calvin,

What channel is the AP operating on? Would you be able to get a sniffer capture with the CC3235 scanning?

Is this the only 5GHz AP that you are scanning for in your other thread?: e2e.ti.com/.../cc3235modsf-cannot-scan-5gh-channel

Hi Sarah,

I attached captured image for the 2.4 and 5 ghz channels. It set as automatic.

I'm sorry about the japanese it's not translated on chrome.

I also attached sniffer capture that device scans repeatedly.

The SSIDs looking for are Buffalo-A-5070, Buffalo-A-5070-WPA3, Buffalo_2.4, Buffalo_2.4_wpa3.

And the CC3235's MAC is 90:E2:02:8C:07:C6

Hi Calvin,

I don't see any events for the MAC address 90:E2:02:8C:07:C6 in the log you sent. Can you check that address and verify the device is scanning?

Hi Calvin,

This looks like a known issue that we've seen with certain 802.11ax APs. The servicepack fix for this should be released in the SDK at the end of this quarter.
