CC3235MODS: CC3235MODS - Did Module supports 1MP image sensor - for Live video

Hi

We need to have Wifi SOC with the following features

1. 10 bit parallel image sensor input

2. It supports 1 MP resolution image sensor and it needs to transmit live video data stream through wireless

2. In datasheet of CC3235MODS, pCLK is mentioned as maximum of 2 MHz. But for 1 MPixel resolution image sensor we need 30MHz clock frequency.

I want to know whether the CC3235MODS module supports 1 Megapixel image sensor resolution for capturing live video and also whether it can transmit the live video signal through wireless.

    Unfortunately it sounds like our device would not be able to interface with your camera interface. You would need a DSP or codec on the front end that could interface to this device and communicate with our device over SPI or UART.     Thanks for your information. Yes, we have Image sensor processor for converting RAW data to processed standard DVP parallel output. And we have 10 bit parallel DVP output from processor and now the video data needs to be transmit through Wifi module.

    Maximum Pixel clock in datasheet is mentioned as 2 MHz. But we need PCLK frequency around 54MHz. Is there any module supports 54MHz Pixel clock frequency?

    Will this CC3200 module can transmit the live video data in radio?

    No Wi-Fi modules will be able to interface with your parallel camera interface. You can check out this reference design by sitara http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDEP0018

    Just eager to ask you, in the datasheet of CC3220, Parallel camera interface is supported and the PCLK max of 2MHz is mentioned.

    You are recommending Sitara processor for increasing PCLK frequency ? or any other reason?
