Does calibration need to be performed on each and every board ? Or just for each board design ?
Is calibration effected by antenna configuration, voltage or temperature ?

There are several levels of calibration. The lowest level of calibration, TxBip needs to be done for every board at manufacturer. After that, there is a cal routine that calibrates automatically every 5 - 10 minutes or when voltage/temperature changes drastically.

You need to be more specific. For instance, if you have an energy meter that includes a MSP you definitely need to make it accurate and tune. As for the wireless communication, yes antennas may get noise and as you mention the temperature may affect the functionality. Do you remember the wireless communication formula? It had a bunch of characteristics that may affect the transmitters and receivers as well!
